“Restoration begins the moment someone is seen with compassion.” -Nivea

Our story.

Restoration Through Compassion, Inc. was founded from lived experience, deep empathy, and an unwavering belief in the power of recovery, healing, and another chances. Compassion is not a concept to the founder—it is personal, rooted in family history, community loss, and moments of both heartbreak and hope witnessed across generations affected by addiction and incarceration.

Having experienced firsthand the ripple effects of addiction on families and loved ones, the founder understands how easily individuals can be defined by their lowest moments rather than their potential. At the same time, she has also witnessed the extraordinary transformation that occurs when individuals are met with understanding, structure, and genuine care. These experiences shaped a conviction that recovery is not only possible, but life-changing when paired with compassion and accountability.

This organization was created to serve individuals and families navigating addiction, reentry, and life disruption—those often overlooked or misunderstood during their most vulnerable transitions. Restoration Through Compassion, Inc. exists to replace judgment with dignity, isolation with support, and uncertainty with stability. Through safe, supportive Level 1 transitional housing and reentry-focused services, the organization provides space for individuals to rebuild confidence, restore relationships, and rediscover purpose.

At its core, Restoration Through Compassion, Inc. is guided by a simple but powerful truth: even one sober moment can change everything. That belief fuels a mission grounded in empathy and action—walking alongside individuals as they rebuild their lives, reclaim their identities, and begin again with hope. Compassion is not just the foundation of this organization; it is the heart of everything it stands for.

Sincerely, Your Founder.
